CONNECT! Board Chair, President, and Founder, Elizabeth Spona accepts the Coos County Friends of Public Health Superstar award on behalf of CONNECT! the Boardwalks. Liz thanked all of the volunteers who have worked so hard for CONNECT!
Vote for our Parks
Support Coos Bay and North Bend Parks by voting for your favorite park(like the Coos Waterfront Walkway) to win a $20,000 grant. The National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) is collaborating again with The Walt Disney Company, including Disney Citizenship, Disney|ABC Television Group and ESPN on the Meet Me at the Park initiative to provide 16 communities with a $20,000 grant to improve local parks. Type in 'Coos Waterfront Walkway, Coos Bay, and then select one of the fifteen listed.
